Career Highlights
William O'Dell Raymond was the son of James Raymond magistrate and landowner of Country Limerick. The family emigrated to NSW in 1826, where William's father was appointed postmaster (from 1829) by Governor Darling, later postmaster general (from 1835). William's brothers, James and Robert, held positions in the post office.
William O'Dell Raymond sailed for England in 1858 for medical assistance.
