Career Highlights

John Norman Pearson, son of a surgeon, John Pearson, was educated at Trinity College, and served as the first Principal of the Islington College of the Church Missionary Society from 1825-1838. From 1839 he was vicar of the Holy Trinity Church, Tunbridge Wells. He died in Essex in October 1865. His son, Sir John Pearson (1819-1886) was a barrister, QC and high court judge.
