(iv) 1897 - A new washhouse added to the
school residence.
(v) 31st August 1898 - Solomon Morton of Millfield was
paid £24.4.9. ($48.49) for these
repairs:-
(a~ chimney
(b) windows
(c) replaced 30 panels of two
railed palir:g fence
(d) removal of old iron and
shingles from the rear of
the building and replacing
with new galvanised corru-
gated iron
(el adding a new bathroom, eight
(8) feet by six (6) feet and
eight (8) feet high. Also
supplying a bathtub.
(vii 25th September 1899 - Solomon Morton received £12.19.0.
($25.90) for:-
(a) repairing school classroom
floor and fixing desks firmly
to floor
(b) replacing new brick flue in
fireplace
(c) painting int~rior school
classroom, exterior of
residence and schoolhouse.
