Cessnock Public School was transferred to the present site of Cessnock
Primary School in March 1907. Mr. Ernest Cameron continued as headmaster·
at the new location. Mr. C. Walker became the headmaster of the old
Cessnock School, which was re-named · 'Cessnock Branch School'.

In 1915 the school's name was changed to the 'Cessnock-Aterda~e Superior
Public School'.
