Interpreting the question correctly
You are expected to acknowledge the topic, instructions and limitations (planning module) imposed on the response in the way that you construct your essay, the overall word length, and by submitting on time.
You do not have to write that you acknowledge them - it will show in how you respond to the essay. Part of that 'how' is to provide a clear indication of what is included in the essay.
The introduction introduces your reader to your proposition, the type of evidence you will be using, and how it will prove the case.
