                     Records do not show the early method utilisec
 uary, 1923.         but local information and tradition advise
                     a small steam unit. Increased in size in
                     1926. Possibly to an electric motor.

 July, 1933.         An electrical operated boosting station to
Y 1951               increase flow in the eight-inch main to
                     Aberdare. It is housed in a small galvanised
                     iron shed.

                     Two new Thompson Castlemain Pumps were
                     purchased and installed in a small brick
                     building, constructed in April, 1951.
