Using information ethically
There are a number of cultural, ethical, economic, legal and social issues that surround the use of information for your research. This module introduces you to some of the main issues and considerations that you should be aware of to ensure the appropriate use of information.
At the end of this module you will understand how to:
- Identify some of the issues associated with intellectual property
- Use information appropriately without breaching copyright
- Identify issues with Indigenous cultural and intellectual property
- Discuss censorship and freedom of speech issues
- Use information technology appropriately
- Use inclusive language in your communications at University.
