Newspapers
Newspapers disseminate news, events and public affairs usually on a daily basis, and are useful for finding information on issues and topics that are local, national or worldwide, as well as editorials, commentaries, and popular opinion.
Newspapers are available from many libraries online as eNewspapers, in print and for historical content as microform (microfiche or microfilm).
Because of the extensive coverage by newspapers, the number of articles contained in a single issue, and the frequency of their publication, the better way to search them is to use library databases, such as ANZ Newsstand (ProQuest), which index newspapers as well as provide full text access to articles.
