Library catalogues

The Library catalogues contain records for the material held in a library. The library holdings refer to the total collection of resources owned by the library.

Physical resources can be books, journals, pamphlets, sound recordings, DVDs, microform, etc. Electronic, or online resources include journal databases, electronic books, images, etc. Regardless of the format, items will have a searchable record in the library catalogue.

What are the restrictions of the Library catalogue?

Some journal articles that have been put into the Course Reesrves Collection can be found via the Library catalogue. However, when researching for assignments, you will need to search journal databases to find relevant articles in journals, magazines and newspapers.
