When you are ready to search the databases it's important to have an understanding of how to search effectively. There are a number of techniques you can use to retrieve relevant search results.

- Limiting
- Wildcards
- Proximity operators
- Nesting
Your assignment may also specifiy other criteria that are required from your resources, such as peer reviewed articles only. Limiting your search using these criteria will ensure the retrieved results are appropriate.
