Laboratory reports
When writing laboratory reports it is very important to carefully describe the methodology you need.
In particular, you must provide all relevant details of:
- all human or animal participants in your study
- equipment and apparatus you used
- the
procedure for obtaining results
If the information is very complex or needs to be particularly detailed, consider placing it in the appendices.
Requirements for laboratory reports depend on the subject for investigation and the length of the assignment. Check with your lecturer if you are unsure which headings to include.
NB: Some faculties and schools provide specific guidelines for writing reports
