The construction of the discussion section is similar to that used in the body of argumentative essays.
You should state or restate your hypothesis,
and provide the supporting evidence from the results. |

While discussion may focus on the results
and what they mean for your hypothesis, you should also
discuss important
aspects of your methodology.

The discussion should also compare and/or contrast your results with those from studies mentioned in your review of the literature. | |
Overall, your discussion should be consistent with your aim for the study, factors guiding your methodology, the results reported, and the construction of your conclusion. |
