Managing your annotated bibliography
If you are creating an annotated bibliography as a study resource several options are available for organising entries:
- Using note books
- On file cards
- Using standard databases, such as Microsoft Access
- Using bibliographic management software, such as EndNote.
When considering which system to adopt, think in the long term. While you may be undertaking this task to meet the immediate requirements of a particular course, a good annotated bibliography can serve you for years to come. This is because you can add new sources at any time and keep the resource current for future needs in your studies and employment.
